Preparing your Baggage
Before arriving at Sacha Q’ente, you need to go through Cusco as it is the nearest airport to us and so it is recommended when you are planning your trip, as far as possible, to include some days in the city prior to the diet, so you can acclimatise to the altitude (3399m) Also, you need to bring warm clothing, a woolen hat as well, as the temperature is generally between 0ºC to 19ºC approximately.
From here it is a 6-7 hour trip and so you will need, at least, 1 bottle of water and a small bag of food (fruit, sandwich) During the bus stops, there will be places where you are able to buy water and food and to go to the bathroom (it is important to take some loose change to use the public toilets)
As well as your baggage, it is also convenient to bring a small bag where you can store a sandwich and drink and where you can put the clothing your left Cusco in, as the temperature will change the closer to the Jungle you get. In Sacha Q’ente the climate is tropical and the temperature is around 15ºC during the night and it can reach almost 35ºC during the day, with a high level of humidity, also rain is frequent, even in the dry season.
